Hi, there!
💆
I was born in 1989, so I am an ancient grandpa and demand respect for my lawn. (/s ya right like I own a house)
(P.s. I am not a sexy hairy ripped daddy bear, but I do own a cat named Tammy 🐈⬛)
I cooked at a bar for a year in college after i served, to this day i check for tip jars put out for cooks because you all deserve the real money. Only see them once in a while though, sadly
It was a pretty bad visit. I ordered ranch with my fries, and my patty melt with only American cuz i don’t know why you’d want swiss on a patty melt. They brought me the melt with swiss, and I got blue cheese for my fries. And didn’t get a water until i was finished with my melt.
Tipped her 10$ cuz she was overworked and I used to be a server. Yay tip culture.
So if the party did more, people wouldn’t be googling “is the current president running for president?” the day before election? I don’t really see how the party trying harder in the right way would fix people’s innate ignorance.
The DNC deserves a ton of blame, but 2024 has taught me there is no democracy without an educated population, and ours is not educated.
I just got back from drowning my sorrows into a patty melt at a local bar I frequent. I normally go at night, so the daytime servers were new to me. Got a 40ish year-old lady server who was overworked because everywhere is understaffed now. I asked for some tea because I hadn’t had caffeine yet, and she looks at me puzzled and says, “like hot tea?” And I say “Yes! Black please, but green is ok too if you don’t have it.” And she looked at me, still confused, and said, “Well i don’t know what that is, but we have regular hot tea I can bring you with some hot water.” After she left to put in my order, I couldn’t stop thinking about this exchange.
This article gives me the same exact feeling. Whatever is happening that allows adult SERVERS to be unfamiliar with one of the most popular drinks on the planet. Whatever allowed it so so many people didn’t even realize Biden had dropped out…is the reason we lost to trump. It’s the reason Democrat weren’t able to break through on any issue. We were either talking to brick walls, or black holes. It’s no ones fault but that servers that she was unaware of black tea. You can’t force people to be intellectually curious or skeptical or even open minded. And these same people get to vote. And that’s why we can’t have nice things.
Voices of the Void.
Oh, wait. It’s free right now??? Go get it!
Gas gets old and can corrode the gas tank over time, which takes time and money to fix. You can push it a little bit, but its a good practice to get into to increase longevity
Okay, you got me! Hi-fi Rush is a masterpiece of perfection, the others that upvoted my OP are definitely wrong too, and any criticism ever considered by a player is just incorrect, because a lot of people loved it, and things a lot of people love are always perfect.
So sorry for the confusion! Have a good weekend!
Just because things are highly beloved does not mean they aren’t flawed and couldn’t use improvements. Starfield has an 83 on metacritic. Life is Strange an 85. As of right now, only 190 people are playing Hi Fi Rush on Steam. 204 are currently playing Bayonetta, for comparison. I never said the game was a trainwreck or totally unenjoyable, i said i believed it could have been even better if they paid attention to criticisms that put off the people who didn’t enjoy it.
Edit: also just looking at the percentages on the global steam achievements and most people do not even see the ending for a 9 hour game. The achievement for beating it on normal difficulty is …16%.
I’m glad you liked it, but the two camps are definitely “this game is a masterpiece” and “this game combat is overbloated and feels sloppy”. Just check the negative steam reviews, they eco similar sentiments to each other
This game was only good for 4-5 hours, imo. Hi-fi rush was a refreshing concept that attracted attention because it stood out in a sea of similar looking titles that the mainstream has become. But they didn’t follow through on the player feedback for such a creative leap in gameplay. It really shows when they start piling on new gameplay mechanics, and combat stops being fun and becomes a mess of awkward controls and spazzy cameras and frustrating vertically-aligned jumping.
Deleted my Facebook in my freshman year of college in 2006 because a terrible person from my hs died from a drug overdose. I posted something like “death is sad but he was not a good person and i won’t miss him” and got jumped on by a bunch of people i already thought were annoying, so i said “fuck this whole website”. It was still when you needed to be in a school to join.
It’s been a crazy ride all these years watching all the terrible things that Facebook does, and people just keep using it. Helped elect trump. Steals and launders art. Takes advantage of all your data. Fosters terrorism and crimes. Just a huge shit hole. “but it has its own built in craigslist!” 🙄😒
Sick Sad World from Daria. I’d love that show
They are laundering the creative works of humans. That’s it. The end. They are laundering machines for art. They should be treated and legislated as such.
I am disabled and have limited income I don’t have control over increasing or decreasing. I use temu to save a lot of money on essential things that should be cheap but are still overpriced in America. Sponges. Rags. Soaps. Pens. Tools. Home improvement hardware. Plant grow supplies. Gifts for me nieces. The tagline, is just a tagline. Billionaires are not like me and scouring for cheap magic sponges.
Edit: also, temu did not invent drop shipping. Shopping on amazon is literally the same thing.
A brain that’s been washed would qualify as ignorant, for me
