There are laws about sexting minors, so if he had done that then he would have broken it and they would have plenty of evidence of that.
If nobody above 18 is morally justified to be in a chat with anybody under 18 then we’ve got some serious societal level issues to fix.

Now, I personally pretty regularly say a lot of shit that can be considered “inappropriate,” but that does not equate to sexual on its own. I’m interested in seeing how this story develops, but it seems most people have already made up their minds and branded him a criminal.
I am willing to believe the accusations, but I won’t take the word of people who tried to weasel out of his contract termination fees.
If they had evidence of sexting in 2017 then why didn’t they report it to the police? Why quietly ban him in 2020?
Seems to me like they had monetary incentive to remove the Doc.

So being opposed to Morales doesn’t seem like a bad thing on its own. Zuniga claims that a group of elites were destroying the nature and taking everything for themselves.
My best educated guess is that Zuniga is an opportunist who saw a fractured federal entity and wanted to wedge himself in the gap as its new leader, no matter how many lives he would need to throw on the fire in order to do so.
To remove all of the nuance: The democratically elected president survived an attempted overthrow from the military. He did so by:
Replacing three military branch leaders who then ordered the military personnel to return to their barracks and stations.
Reaching out to the citizens, who reacted quickly and without any signs of weakness to form mobs who surrounded and shouted at troops belonging to the coup.
The timeline was something like: Coup begins quietly, Coup leader Zuniga claimed to be “trying to restore democracy” at 2:47 AM, and Zuniga was arrested at 5:08 AM for the crime.

It was an act passed by congress and signed by a sitting president. Biden alone doesn’t have the authority to change it, and if he did try that then it would be caught up in courts for years.
