Buuuuuuuuuuuut…How would they fight wildfires?
Won’t anyone think about the wildfires?
/s (To be clear)
Not in the West Bank.
Genocide.
I haven’t voted on 118 yet. It’s the only bit unfilled. Not sure which way I’ll go. Probably no, and then walk the ballot to a Dropbox in my neighborhoods library.
No, they aren’t. That literally is nowhere in their post.
You either didn’t read it all, or you’re lying, or you have poor reading comprehension skills.
I doubt it’s the latter for a mod on a text based platform.
P.S. I’m an admin on a fairly large platform for a fairly large group. When the group took off, I started interacting on it a LOT less because my moderation responsibilities (which also increased with the groups growth, why are so many people just blatant assholes or trolls?) required that people view me as impartial and unbiased.
Choosing to engage frequently in controversial topics and using straw man arguments against posts that literally don’t say anything related to what you say they say is certainly… a choice… for a mod to make.
Don’t get me wrong, I miss my ability to interact with the group I admin like a normal person, but my duties to the group take precedence. I understand the desire, but there are other options.
Israel absolutely can’t do this without our weapons.
This is an objective provable fact.
Why do you believe that Israel ended every other war of aggression when there US forced them to end it.
Where do you think their money for weapons comes from?
Where do you think their weapons comes from?
I can’t tell it you’re lying intentionally to justify genocide, lying unintentionally because you are just fantastically uninformed about the regions history, or just flat out delusional.
Whatever the reason, you’re wrong. Biden could end this with a single phone call. You know, like has happened multiple times in the past. Because even if you don’t want to acknowledge the truth, Israel is aware of its absolute dependence on America.
Now onto the genocide bit. Actually, I can’t. At this point it is so blindingly obvious it is it’s like trying to argue with someone claiming the sun doesn’t exist.
I’m revising my opinion about your choice to lie about how much control the US has over Israeli adventurism.
I’d bet money you voted against measure 117.
This is provably a lie.
They can end the genocide right now. Implying that they can’t is trying (and failing) to provide them cover for committing a genocide. And yes, continuing to provide weapons to the grunts doing the work doesn’t absolve them of the moral responsibility for it, nor does it provide them enough cover to pretend that genocide isn’t the outcome they want.
The only gymnastics someone is doing here is trying to tie a stupid domestic politician to a much greater foreign policy evil THAT HE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH. He also didn’t have anything to do with the Armenian genocide, and bringing him up in that context would be as relevant as bringing him up in this context.
Again, this isn’t hard to understand.
…
RFK Jr. Is a crazy fuck. He also isn’t relevant to this topic at all.
Bringing him up in this context is literally providing cover to the people responsible for this moral failure, and tying it to someone who, while bad and crazy, has no particular relationship to this topic.
This isn’t hard to understand.
Most people that claim they will move haven’t actually looked at what is required from other countries and wouldn’t be accepted If they tried to move.
I think you meant CIA, as mentioned by others.
Good job not addressing the main important point of the post you’re responding to, namely the absolute reliability of the Gaza Health Ministries numbers.
You try and throw uncertainty about the death toll by linking the Health Ministry to …Hezbollah… to try and discredit the numbers. The numbers that basically EVERYONE at this point (except for people who are biased to the point of any unwillingness to believe, you know, fucking reality) accepts as rock solid.
Actually address that point. It’s the basis for all of your comments in this thread. The foundation, if you will.
Given what I’ve seen you moderate in news on Lemmy.world, I wouldn’t be so quick to accuse others of letting their biases impact how they treat things that go against their world view.
I use posteo.
If you’re thinking of using your own domain, I would suggest using forwardemail.net

Don’t know if it was a nuke or not, but the 10km bit isn’t info one way or another.
Holy shit, seriously, thanks for the futo keyboard suggestion.
I just scrolled through three months of your posts while waiting for my wife to wake up, and had to stop cause that is boring as hell. Ugh. Not doing that again.
I found a single critical post of Israel when they intentionally killed the American woman in the west bank. But you didn’t acknowledge that they lied about it before acknowledging it, or that or was obviously intentional.
That is it. Now, I didn’t go the full year, so maybe there were comments before that.
I did find out about the Futo keyboard though. So thanks for that.
Also, just a heads up, Thunderbird for android has inserted trackers. The ui of fair email isn’t as nice, but at least it isn’t tracking you.
And yeah, ‘say it ain’t so’ about Neil Gaimen. Why is it so hard to not be a scumbag?
Also, the movie tusk was horrible.
… Just out of curiosity, and not a pointed question like the Rhodesia one, but how do you feel about New York City/State?
If you need a third party app to extract the private key, then it isn’t actually open. It’s just the step before Google encrypts the output.
