Of course not. I’m in love with a whole person, not her appearance. I love her fierce intellect, her passion for justice, her wanderer’s spirit. I love that we can sit together and watch anything only for it to lead to a new and endlessly fascinating discussion.

Makeup doesn’t affect any of that.

I like how makeup highlights her favorite features or hides when she feels tired or insecure. I like that it helps her feel more fully herself. I think it’s great that makeup can do that for her.

She will always be attractive to me for who she is. How she looked may have helped me first talk to her, but who she is has kept us talking for 16 years.

I just felt like the show lost its way a little. Like it doesn’t seem to understand the doctor anymore.

I think Capaldi is a fantastic actor and I love the idea of returning to an older doctor, but I recall an early episode when he duels a swordfighter with a spoon and it made me think of that old Reddit copypasta from the weird girl.

So the fine edge of the blade can warp as you use it. The honing rod helps straighten that back out to improve cutting. The whetstone actually removes bits of steel in order to create a new edge. Honing should be done regularly, but using a whetstone to sharpen the blade is periodic.

A honing rod and whetstone fulfill different functions. You should ideally be using both for knife maintenance.

Source on the executions? I found that informants were named and when warned that this could result in their deaths Assange basically said, “lol, snitches get stitches.”

They’re not even in the same ballpark. Trump is a disaster for the environment, for reproductive rights, for minorities, and for the Middle East.

I would give anything for an alternative to Biden that wasn’t Trump, but pretending that voting against Biden would somehow be better for Palestine is insane.

This joke seems to imply that mostly women are feminists. As a man who is also a staunch feminist, the joke really didn’t land for me.

While Tax the Rich is fair and accurate, I wish we could point out that this isn’t some undue burden. This is just reclaiming the surplus wealth they’ve extracted from the economy.
