That’d be a pretty targeted attack (and a good chance to find out who we know has a good sense of humor). Quite unlikely. Could think of a sicko getting CSAM in the #1 spot on the front page if their initial upload was worthy of getting there… Content swaps & edits always have some problems but I’ve definitely appreciated that feature.

I think I’ve seen some posts about the data Lemmy collects. Isn’t there like a public history of upvotes, edits and all that?
