PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Firefighters are working to find out what caused an ammonia leak at a food manufacturing plant in central Phoenix early Monday morning.

Around 4 a.m., Phoenix firefighters received reports about an ammonia leak at the Shamrock Foods industrial building, located off of Interstate 17 and Encanto Boulevard.

Three hours later, crews were able to contain the leak to one building. Just after 5:30 p.m., firefighters said technical teams had secured the ammonia leak.

No one was hurt.
