I just wanted to share that tonight your faithful mod aka me will get to go to Bracken Cave and see millions of bats fly out of it for their nightly hunt. I am so excited and wanted to share the joy. I doubt I will get any decent pics because I will be enjoying the show, but here is a picture from their Instagram.

If you can’t make it there, the Eckert James River bat cave in Mason, TX has 4-8m bats!
My wife looked into getting tickets and they were sold out for months. How long did you wait?
We got ours sometime at the end of June. I had no idea it was such a popular location, so we just lucked out.
