So… Diogenes?
So… Diogenes?
The pancake mix was a particularly stupid argument in my opinion. She said that’s what her mom always made and she likes it. It’s hard to argue against it since her mom has been passed for about 15 years now. She tried to pull nostalgia on me, and I don’t have nostalgia for food.
I had a friend who tried the same thing, bars and such. He didn’t try anybody in his friend group and he was more ir less isolated at work, so there was no real pool of people to look into. I suggested getting a cheap seat at the ballpark and he balked saying he didn’t like sports. I told him even if he walked the concourse, there were still folks he could interact with. He ended up finding some girl who was an actual prostitute and got him hooked on drugs.
I would like to explain that I’m not looking for dirty stories and such. I have been exploring the more extreme tropes in porn to see if they happen IRL or not. Probably should have explained better, but there it is. There are some ideas used that are rather extreme, and I start wondering how much it actually happens.
Thank you. That was a really good explanation. I don’t know much about the way this shit works, and I probably would have tried what the original post suggests if I had that kind of money.
So let’s say I have the $3m and buy the bond. Will I have a monthly return and for how much?
So I watched the video and watched as the guy was handed the hammer with the guitar. Was the auction a chance to destroy the guitar or just the guitar? Cause it looks like the former and the media is just reporting what will piss people off.
Where I live, there are people who make a decent amount of cash by grabbing whatever metal they can find out of the trash and taking it to scrapyards. There are a couple of trucks that swing past my house a few times the night before and the day of trash pickup. And myself, I grabbed two bikes by just knocking on the door and asking.
They’re deflecting everybody’s attention so the admiral can pee of the other side of the boat.
I struggle with suicidal ideation problems. They have been so severe in the past that I almost went through it. While not all suicidal scenes trigger me, there are a few. And I have found that having the warnings help me from shutting off the TV and running off in a crying fit. I know it’s coming and can prepare myself. And knowing that the hotline is there has been one of the most comforting things I know of. I may have never called, but it’s there for when I can’t deal on my own. So yes, the warnings make a positive difference for me.
My issue with all that tech is now I can’t find players who are willing to meet up in person.
I could have worded things better, as I wanted to know how tech hurt your hobby when it was supposed to make it better. My issue, we now have all these ways of connecting to people all over the place, there are more TTRPG groups that play online instead of in person. Used to be I could go into a game/hobby/comic shop and find people who are willing to start a game. I don’t do well with online only games with my ADHD.
I agree with you on that. And the changes still are going on. I remember in school in the 90’s it wasn’t uncommon for a college guy to date a high school girl with no real repercussion. Not saying that it was right back then, just looked at differently.
Priscilla was 14 when they met, and he managed to convince her father to let her live with him. I blame the father just a much since he knew what was going down.
So what you are saying, in plenty of words, is that because the dude has the material privileges he thinks that the world has the same access to them too?
I have read many comments here about how horrible it is that the rich get everything and we need to make the opportunities equal for everyone, I think they are missing the point of the comic. At the end, Richard’s view has been filtered through the things he was given as something that happens to everyone. Nobody told him that he was given privileges that Paula doesn’t have access to. To him, everybody has access.
What got people to vote for Biden but not Harris? A dire need. Not voting for Biden meant that Trump stayed in office. Even though the stakes were the same, too many people sat on the couch thinking it was going to happen again and they didn’t have to go.
