WAT???
WAT???
In Europe it’s just sparkling “let them down in the Mediterranean and/or make sure they stay in their own neighborhoods.”
This is correct but it’s delusional to think saying this to them would work. They need to be deeply afraid to express their opinions. They’re dug in and if this year taught us anything it’s that they aren’t convincible. The only realistic path forward is to make them fearful. Ridicule isn’t enough. They need to be afraid if they voice their opinions. Afraid for their reputations, afraid for their careers, and afraid for their very lives. If they aren’t afraid at that level then we’ll only sink farther. Them not getting laid isn’t nearly enough. They should live terrified that people will find out who they really are, and they must be afraid at the highest level.
EDIT: Reading this back I realize how this sounds, I’m NOT saying that anyone should take that kind of action, but when Sherman matched to the sea, that kind of fear was the goal and it briefly worked. Likewise after the civil rights movement. It’s nothing more than the tolerance paradox.
These people would rather just bitch about leftists than face the reality that they haven’t had a serious, competitive primary in almost two decades and have fully committed to elite control of the primary process. It’s peak moderate head-in-sand burying: “we don’t need to reform anything, we just need to vote harder and yell even more about anyone criticizing us.” I voted for Harris and think it was dumb not to, but at this point anyone insisting that the main problem was people not voting hard enough is a fucking idiot and shouldn’t be taken seriously.
Canada talking a lot of good shit in posts like this lately. Don’t get me wrong, I grew up near the border and I love Canada, but don’t pretend it’s not just a handful of resource extraction companies stacked in a trench coat pretending to be a country.
That’s what I don’t get though, these people seem to be delusional in that they think that they’re a hard worker and looooove in person, so therefore every hard worker loves in person and the chaff will quit. Then they act shocked when their high performers largely leave to pursue remote or hybrid options. It’s such a glaring inability to see people different from them as having any value.
Not that South Korea was in the right at the time or anything, but really? We’re gonna die on the “North Korea was in the right” hill? Damn…
I realize the irony in this opening statement, but as someone who’s been vegan a long time and never brings it up unless directly asked I can say that this people who are vocal about it tend to be the new vegans who are gonna drop out in six months because they just so happened to have a 1 in 6,000,000,000 person medical condition that makes it literally impossible for them to be vegan, which they discovered for the first time right after bbq season started back up. Definitely not just because they have a different outlook now, no sir.
Also the use of “sent posts” makes it extremely clear that they aren’t even American.
So there are limits on major areas (the property itself, other structures like fences and sheds, lost rental income, etc.) And other more specific things like condo assessments. Generally you can’t get a lot of money for condo assessments, unless you pay a lot extra to lift that limit higher.
In my state the sublimit on condo assessments is very low, maybe a couple thousand per year
Ghost in the Shell called it thirty years ago.
Mindlessly sucking Bibi’s dick? Sickening.
Looking at you NJ, you ridiculous grift if a state.
Iaal and I would fucking kill for just a standard 40 hour, 5 day work week at this point 😓
They’re not, but there’s a difference between providing legal advice and explaining necessary procedures the pro se individual must follow, explaining that a necessary form is available online in their bank of forms, explaining that something they did is procedurally improper, etc etc. The latter is actually pretty common, just out of necessity really.
It takes fewer seconds for assholes like you to fuck off though, sooooooo…
Tell me you don’t understand directionally or literal numbers without telling me…
Exactly. It’s very much structural. And fixable, but we won’t fix it :/
There are presumptions that you were of sound mind and it was you. Unsurprisingly, courts are full of weasely, pro se people who waste everybody’s time because they, very much incorrectly, think that they can get out of agreements by going into court and making the brilliant, one of a kind argument of “but your honor, they can’t prove that I clicked it. I was hacked/someone else must have logged in as me!” People do this all the time and they lose all the time. Modern commerce literally would not function without these presumptions.
Edit: also, fwiw, there are exceptions but generally speaking verbal agreements were and still are very much valid, whether written or not, unless the agreement fell into certain categories (e.g., sale of land). Same deal, annoying people think they can outsmart the system by just saying “but your honor, none of this was ever put to paper.” They are, with important exceptions, also generally wrong.
