Up until very recently, “goon” meant something different and had no sexual connotation whatsoever. I’m still a little hazy on what “goon” has turned into, and why.

trump & other republicans see what putin has in Russia and they want that here for themselves. They do not care about Americans or the constitution. They care about money and power, and will kill Americans and the constitution to get it.

I’m an American. I hate and oppose trump with every fiber of my being. I am ashamed to live here. I feel like I’m trapped, surrounded by idiots. I can’t afford to uproot my family and move out.

I don’t want to come to lemmy and be insulted, just because I’m in a country where too many people made the wrong choice.

The USA still has good people. Anti-fascist, anti-trump, anti-ignorance/cruelty/racism/hate.

We didn’t all insult all Russians of the acts of Putin. Why insult us?

Oh fuck off. “Cosmos” was never meant to be an ongoing series. Sagan didn’t intend for it to be more than one season. And there were two follow- up seasons with Neil deGrasse Tyson later on.

Also, there are 51 (and counting) seasons of “NOVA.” Not all Americans are stupid.
