I model and doodle stuff
I forgot to mention that the video shows 5pp for Venom Bite, but decided to change it since to more closely match thunder.
Old: 5pp 120 power, 85% accuracy, 33% chance to poison
New: 10pp 120 power, 70% accuracy, 30% chance to poison
I decided to lower the accuracy because poison status already deals 1/8th the damage each turn and Fire blast which accuracy is 85% has only 10% effect chance. The lower accuracy then balanced by the power point increase.
Comparison to gen 2 moves:
Fire blast: 5 pp, 120 power, 85% acc, 10% effect
Hydro pump: 5 pp, 120 power, 80% acc, --% effect
Thunder: 10 pp, 120 power, 70% acc, 30% effect
I agree with the biological definition, “organism that can survive as an individual”. Even if the fetus has a parasitic relation, it is capable of developing all functions to fit the full definition.
There are other definitions of ‘life’ and anyone is free to believe either way, but the more subjective question is: When does the fetus become a person?
Same thing with alcohol prohibition. People are going to break the law, legal or not. The US is said to be the freedom land, but women can’t have autonomy over their bodies.
What I gathered is that 70% of the US congress is men, so it’s not their freedom that they sacrifice.
Christian values are important to some voters, so politicians can gain free points by promising anti-abortion laws.
The politicians who make such decisions think one term at a time and disregard the consequences as long as it doesn’t affect them. If they actually cared, they would also advocate for childcare benefits.
I just have it in muscle memory to know which way soda bottle cap tightens
That was a good watch, I can see binary view being at least part of the problem. I did think that religion might be part of the reason for some laws, but somehow didn’t realize how big. And the video had many other good points worth of the watch.
How did i get chills listening a gif?
It did brush my mind as I’m still baffled about some abortion laws even if there’s no brain development. But if it was an egg, it would be hard to enforce it and some eggs aren’t fertilized. I bet someone would try to outlaw having a miscarriage if they could.
The more you know. So it could be more likely that humans sat on their eggs to keep them warm, or they would have been limited to tropical climates. Humans would have evolved very differently regardless.
Yes, my parents used to have chickens. It’s unlikely that the incubation period would be 9 months and being oviparous has It’s own challenges. If humans did evolve that route I’d imagine that we’d have overcome most of the issues. Dinosaurs being one example, it’s possible humans would be cold blooded and have learned the joy of regurgitation. It comes down to speculation whether human like intelligence could have evolved with these limitations.
Dinosaurs were pretty big too
those arent percentages. That’s more than double the recommended tire pressure in psi
One more reason to subscribe to float plane
I decided to spend a day debugging linux boot failure, which I found to be caused by the Nvidia driver.
