That’s why you use a privacy-focused ROM with advanced permission controls or a separate work phone.
I use Arch based distros btw.

FOSS community is just highly triggerable and sore. Try to say anything they disagree with to check it.
Afaik the most stable DEs on Linux are GNOME and Xfce. I don’t see many advantages of MATE so Xfce is my preferred option. MATE has a better app selection though.
I believe Jerboa uses default theme implementation provided by Google. It’s embedded into one of the source code files. Making the app themable requires changing that implementation to an external config file based one. It can cause security vulnerabilities.
Nah there’s no market for that really and it’s also illegal in some countries (idk about the US).
I mean, it’s a controversial one but if citizens want it then why not? I see some people here saying that banning it would be a bad decision for the government but in case of a petition, they’re not doing it because they want to but because their voters told them to.
Also I don’t have much against such a radical approach to improving privacy. Most people nowadays can’t be made to care or do something. They can only be forced. Though such enforcement can make them vote against that government but that’s up to demographic researchers to analyze.
It depends on how good the camera and the software are. They’re constantly getting better. And if the software is complex enough, even wearing a mask won’t help because the software may tag and track you because you’re different to everyone else in that case.
Not for much longer. Everything is going to be based on facial recognition soon. The only way to fix it is to ban the thing altogether.
You can expect a lot of controversy if your project is affiliated with AI. People in these advanced communities don’t like it for valid reasons.
Can someone eliminate their president please?
Whoa nice distro choice there.
I guess it’s time to create a GitLab account.
My Android keyboard is probably lacking the proper dictionary
I think using the dictionary is cheating here.
and is probably less reactive than the native app installed by default
That’s weird. When I install keyboards I don’t notice slowdowns but rather improvements due to the mainstream solutions being extremely bloated.
Even a typing test on a keyboard is odd. My grandma surely gonna fail this test and not because she’s old, but because she doesn’t know where the different keys/letters are placed on the keyboard.
But that’s what the test is about. It’s not about how fast you can press keys. It’s about using your key position knowledge.
No. Old UI is terrible. The newest UI with extremely rounded corners is bad too but I’d much rather use it than old stuff.
As I understood, it’s kind of an isolated fork of the internet (not the protocols but more surface-level stuff) with some changes. Considering how bloated and bad internet is nowadays, I guess it serves the purpose of being a niche alternative. I can’t really understand the actual features and differences of it though so someone else will have to take a look into that.
It looks like it’s based on Epiphany?
I agree with this. However the very latest Pixels (with the stock ROM) might be a bit more invasive than the phones by an OEM like Motorola or Nokia.
That’s true but absolutely impossible to achieve.
Ok big tech boss.
