If legal justice was going to happen to Trump, it would have by now. This shit is pure theater.

Our options are vigilante justice or no justice.

Serious question: what country is safe for Smith to flee to?

If Smith does not flee, I am 100% confident Trump’s DOJ or HSI will make a vicious example of him.

Nope. Pausing because the JD doesn’t investigate sitting presidents, and having the team work on this for another 2 months would be a waste of their time.

I said from day one, the dog and pony show will come to an end the day after the election, regardless who won, because that’s all it’s been, is a dog and pony show. The oligarchy will never convict one of their own.

I’m glad the prosecutor in charge of prosecuting treason and a coup decided to spend his time and political capital solving a cool procedural puzzle. I’m sure nobody will be smart enough to see he took a legitimate question and acted disproportionately.

I think he relished having his hands tied so they wouldn’t have to get dirty. Because getting your hands dirty means silver shirts will threaten or harm your family.

Yeah I could see this argument working for Mueller, maybe. But Jack Smith has been pretty on the ball this whole time. There are a couple things I wished he would’ve done faster, but I understand his reasoning. The problem is we let conservatives completely corrupt the judiciary the last 40 years. I can’t really fault Jack Smith for that. I don’t think he has relished any of this whatsoever.
