From my (probably) ignorant European/German viewpoint, don’t many Democrats also own Guns? I still believe the average American has very different viewpoints than the average russian (they had to deal with that kind of shit for over 60 years now) and are a lot less apathetic…i’m not entirely sure if trump goes on a “people falling out of windows” spree you guys are just going to accept it and fall over. Granted, i’ve been moping the last few days probably the same (many of you probably don’t realize how influential the U.S. still is), but i don’t think it’s “Game Over” per se…
So…yeah…there’s still a little glimmer of hope, that glimmer being at least 40% of american people…
I’m gonna laugh so hard. If we can’t have a good country, we can at least have a bad country for all the people who voted it in.
I’m done being a generous citizen. Transactional interactions only for trumpsters going forward.
I’m looking forward to the young Latino men, Gen Z, and women, especially white women,getting what they voted.
Thing is, the qons built a parallel media structure for a reason. As Chomsky said, many of these people have a RIGHT to be angry. It’s just that they are angry for the wrong reasons, and angry at the wrong policies and people responsible for those policies.
That parallel media structure’s entire purpose is to ensure that the “angry white males” (or whatever demo) is angry for the “right” reasons, and never get any ideas about who is to really be blamed for their misery. So they’ll be shown caravans of immigrants headed for the border, scary black on white crime exaggerated out of proportion, told eggs now cost 4x as much because of what the trans did, and so on…
Especially Latinos (+30 R vs 2020?!). Lots of “But I’m not an illegal immigrant!” when the ICE raids start up. “Sorry, your name’s on the list.” Off to the camps they go. Big whoops.
How many times are we going to hear the magabrainz whining that “he’s not hurting the people he needs to be hurting, you guys!!!”

That is their choice to make.
I can’t wait to observe the consequences of people’s actions.
Democrat voters supporting their party hard shift to the right got what they deserved.
They can’t expect to win elections if they continually ignore the needs of voters.
