minus-squareAa!@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up4·edit-227 days agoI don’t think I can agree with calling Spock the “big city” boyfriend when space is described verbatim as “the final frontier.” Plus in the Hallmark movies/romcoms, the protagonist (T’Pring) isn’t usually depicted as a cunning strategist, intending to screw over her betrothed.
The only part of this that doesn’t work for me is that Spock is only doing it out of duty. He was not actually interested in T’Pring anymore and now canonically hadn’t been in years.
