Mlem is a free and open source project. 100% of our funding, which pays for things like server time, comes from our generous donors; we do not, and will never, run ads or sell data. If you’d like to help support Mlem, you can donate here.
I’m seeing an issue where “more replies” never loads more, it goes to a comment thread that ends at the same place?
Thanks for the bug report. Do you have a link to a comment chain where this happens?
Everyone, on this thread, there is a comment with More Replies, and it loops. On iOS 18.1 and 18.0. :)
Thanks. It looks like this only happens on beehaw.org so it’s possibly related to older Lemmy versions. We’ll look into fixing it 👍
Classic! Thank you!
Hi, great news, thanks for the hard work. I wonder why it requires iOS 16? I have an old iPad and can’t install it there :(
Hi! Mlem v1 requires iOS 16 or later and Mlem v2 requires iOS 17 or later. Supporting a wider range of versions would take up significantly more development time, and prevent us from using newer APIs. For that reason we choose to support only the two most recent iOS versions, which most of our users fall under.
We’re sorry that you can’t use Mlem on your old iPad. You could try Voyager instead, which supports any iOS version (I think).
