    This isn’t even about current events, they’ll still on shit from five years ago

    Rieser said Blinken’s justification was “not consistent with how the law was written and how it was intended to be applied.” A former State Department official said it was a “mockery.” Both officials, along with another congressional aide, were especially troubled that during the years it had taken to assess whether Israel had sufficiently punished the perpetrators, the State Department had apparently not disqualified the units from U.S. support.

    Both parties slow walk this shit, because both of the parties leaders take AIPAC money and most get even more from the makers of the weapons we give Israel as well.

    We need to end aid immediately due to the ongoing genocide, not wait five years and debate if we should have.

    But realistically whoever the next president is, they won’t give a single fuck about Palestinians being genocided with American weapons.

    So yeah, it’s probably going to be five years before there’s even a report
